You label me crazy
when I say that
when I write
a poem I think
will understand
me before I can,
the part of me
that eats a steak
and cheese
before tasting it
thinks he can
become anything
by reading it.
But labeling
me crazy means
you have to be
because you can’t
know something
without becoming it.
If you want to know
what I think,
you just think
your crazy is more
appropriate
and valuable than
mine is.
